The "PHOQUE" tank is inspired by Quebecois folk song La Complainte du Phoque en Alaska which tells the story of a heartbroken seal, sitting on an ice floe in Alaska. The song is very well known in Quebec (we all sang it in fourth grade). I also perform La Complainte in my hit one-person show NOT AMERICAN. Note that “phoque” (pronounced fuck) is French for “seal”.
To improve longevity of garment, machine wash with cold water on gentle wash cycle and hang to dry.
